Der höchste Bewusstseinszustand
Der Punkt steht für den vierten Bewusstheitszustand. In diesem Zustand blickt das Bewusstsein weder nach aussen noch nach innen. Dieser völlig ruhige, friedliche und glückselige Zustand ist das letztendlich Ziel aller geistigen Tätigkeit.
Illusion/Maya
Dieser Halbkreis steht er dafür, was sich uns während unserer spirituellen Entwicklung in den Weg stellt und an der Verwirklichung des höchsten Zustandes hindert. Der Halbkreis berührt den Punkt nicht und symbolisiert so, dass der höchste Bewusstseinszustand unbeeinflusst von der Illusion ist.
Der Tiefschalf
Die obere Kurve bezeichnet den Zustand des Tiefschlafes. In diesem Zustand wird das Bewusstsein stillgelegt und es existieren weder Träume noch Wünsche.
Der Wachzustand
Die grosse Kurve stellt den Bewusstseinszustand nach aussen gewendet dar, so wie die Welt mit allen fünf Sinnen erlebt wird. Dies ist der Zustand indem sich der Mensch am häufigsten befindet.
Der Traumzustand
Die Traumzustand wird durch die mittlere Kurve dargestellt und liegt zwischen dem Wachzustand und dem Tiefschlaf. In diesem Zustand ist das Bewusstsein ausgeschaltet und der Träumer nimmt eine andere Welt mit geschlossenen Augen wahr.

The Absolute State
The dot signifies the fourth state of consciousness. In this state, the consciousness looks neither outwards nor inwards. This utterly quiet, peaceful and blissful state is the ultimate aim of all spiritual activity.
Illusion/Maya
This is what gets in the way go our spiritual development, preventing us from realization of the highest state of bliss (the dot above this curve). This semicircle does not touch the dot, meaning that the highest state of consciousness is unaffected by illusion.
The Unconscious State
The top curve denotes the state of deep sleep. This is subconsciously shut down, desiring nothing and having no dreams.
The Walking State
Represented by the large curve, this state of consciousness is turned outwards and experiences the world through the five senses. This is the most common state of human consciousness.
The Dream State
The middle curve, which lies between deep sleep and the walking state signifies the dream state. In this state the consciousness is turned within, and the dreamer experiences a world behind closed eyes.
